# export project

> Hand the timeline to another editing app as a project file: a zip holding the cut plus every clip's media, for DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Written on the user's own computer by the desktop app, so it needs a connection through that app. Carries cuts, trims, speed, framing, crops, opacity, levels and cross dissolves; titles reach Resolve and Final Cut, and for Premiere the words ride as an .srt beside the project. Color, effects and other transitions do not cross, and the answer names what this cut lost. A finished video is render_timeline. Free.
